    Character Information
    Name: Perseus "Percy" Jackson
    Age: 18
Fandom: Percy Jackson and the Olympians (The Books!)
Point In Fandom Taken From: Three Years after the Fifth book (Making him barely 19)
Brief History: At age twelve, Percy Jackson had been bounced from school to school all his life. His Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder and Dyslexia were the cause of much of his trouble in schools. Then he found out he was the son of a god and monsters started coming at him out of the woodworks. He ended up at Camp Half-Blood where he learned he was the son of Poseidon, and after some training he set out on a quest to rescue his mother from the underworld, as well as retrieving Zeus' stolen lightning and Hades' stolen invisibility cap. He succeeded in all of those goals, slaying Medusa on the way, as well as wounding Ares in combat. Ares cursed him, and his mother used Medusa's head to free them both from her verbally abusive husband.
The next year, Percy met his half-brother Tyson, a cyclops. Then he learned that his best friend Grover, a faun, was in trouble so he set out to save him and Camp Half-Blood. The quest was not his but the recipient of the quest was prophesied as needing his help to complete the quest. En route he faced Scylla and Charybdis, Circe, The Sirens, and finally faced Polyphemus to retrieve the Fleece and rescue Grover and Clarisse, the girl who was on the quest for the fleece. He sent her home with the fleece then faced a mad demi-god named Luke who was trying to raise Kronos to destroy the Olympians. During the battle he freed a black Pegasus as well as clearing his mentor's name of a crime he hadn't committed.
A year later, Percy set out on a new mission to rescue Artemis, with a group consisting of several heroic women and several of Artemis' huntresses. Percy's primary goal was not the rescue of the goddess but the rescue of his female friend Annabeth. En route he battles a lion with unbreakable skin, skeletal warriors, Gigantic robotic monstrosities, and finally Atlas, a titan trying to escape his job of holding up the heavens, a job Percy briefly does in his stead before Atlas is again trapped by his curse.
Percy's next adventure was a trek through the Labyrinth to find its creator. He was a success, though on the way he had to fight his own half-brother who drew strength from contact with the ground as Gaia was his mother, He also had to clean the very stables Hercules had cleaned during his labors. He erupted a volcano to defeat a swarm of the enemies of the gods, and was blown to Calypso's island for the first time. When he went home from there he found Pan in time to see him die and Daedalus, who turned himself over to Hades' son, since he should have been dead thousands of years before. He fought in an epic battle to save Camp Half-Blood, then after being dipped into the River Styx (thus granted Invulnerability) He saved Olympus from the Titans and turned down godhood. In the three years since then, while trying to puzzle out the newest great prophecy he has broken up with Annabeth, daughter of Athena, and set out on his pegasus to return to Calypso's isle and see if she has been receiving better treatment since his last visit.

Personality: Percy is an over all good guy. He believes in protecting his friends and family above all of his other concerns. Second to that is Camp Half-blood and other half gods like himself. He supports the Olympians because he likes western culture in general.
He is the kind of man who has always felt responsible for the fate of the world, but he's trying to leave all of that pressure behind. His main goal in coming to the island is to see someone who made him feel special, and to take some time and relax. He knows he's committing himself to stay with someone he barely knows, what he doesn't know is how much the Island has changed.
Percy loves blue foods, beyond what many people would consider sane. His step-father made such a big meal of them not existing that since then he has loved blue foods of every ilk.
He hates school and reading. His brain being hard-wired for Ancient Greek, made reading and schoolwork in general difficult as a child and he has never gotten over the feelings of inferiority on the subject of school despite knowing what that inferiority was caused by. He doesn't even read Ancient Greek normally, having a general distaste for reading.
Percy is often impatient and prone to frequent changes of mood, being as mutable as his father. His temper is under better control now, but he still often finds himself having to bite back sarcastic comments. Other times he doesn't bother to hold them back.
He has the self-confidence of a handsome young man who has had some romantic luck, and the overconfidence of a man who once bested the god of war in a fight. He trusts his skill and luck to get him through the worst situations, and sadly he's not been proven to be truly wrong.
